Black and White 2
was hand-built within a twisted and convoluted frond. It was then glazed and decorated to achieve a simple monochromic palette. During firing, some small cracks appeared - later repaired in the style of the Japanese technique Kintsugi, where gold is used to highlight rather than hide imperfections.
